Forum Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to RP Social! Our goal is to create a friendly inclusive space where roleplayers, writers, creators, and community members can connect. By participating on the forum, you agree to follow these guidelines.



1. Be Respectful

Treat other members with respect.

  • No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or personal attacks.
  • Disagreements are fine, hostility is not.
  • Respect other members' boundaries and preferences.



2. Keep Content Legal and Appropriate

Do not post content that violates applicable laws or infringes on the rights of others.

This includes:

  • Illegal content
  • Doxxing or sharing private information
  • Impersonation intended to deceive others
  • Malicious software, phishing attempts, or harmful links



3. Respect Diversity

RP Social welcomes people from all backgrounds.

Discrimination, hate speech, or harassment based on gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, or other personal characteristics is not permitted.



4. Roleplay Etiquette

Please help create a positive roleplaying environment for everyone.

  • Obtain consent before involving another player's character in major story developments.
  • Avoid godmodding, powergaming, and controlling another player's character without permission.
  • Communicate openly with your RP partners.
  • Respect content preferences, limits, and boundaries.



5. Keep Profiles Appropriate

Usernames, avatars, signatures, and profile content must follow forum rules.

Staff may request changes to content that is disruptive, offensive, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate for the community.



6. Advertising & Promotion

Reasonable promotion of personal projects, communities, streams, artwork, writing, and creative work is allowed in designated areas.

Spam, excessive self-promotion, and unsolicited advertising are not permitted.



7. Staff Decisions

The staff team is here to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Moderators may edit, move, lock, or remove content that violates forum rules. Repeated violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.



8. Reporting Problems

If you encounter rule violations, harassment, spam, or other issues, please use the report feature or contact a member of the staff team.

Please avoid escalating conflicts publicly whenever possible.



9. Have Fun

RP Social exists to help people connect, create stories, make friends, and enjoy their hobbies.

Be kind, be respectful, and help us build a welcoming community for everyone.



These rules may be updated as the community grows. Continued use of RP Social constitutes agreement to follow these guidelines.
